Here are some helpful key points when deciding between Thermoplastic and Plastisol tables.

Thermoplastic Coated Metal Picnic Tables:

ThermoPlastic is a Polyethylene which can be melted again. Repairs are easy.
ThermoPlastic is applied as a powder and then melted to the steel.
The Thermoplastic coating process produces no VOC's (aerial pollutants).
This coating is thinner and harder than Plastisol.
The legs are constructed from award winning Allied Flo-Coat® steel tubing, galvanized inside and out.
After bending and welding, the legs are coated with TIGER Drylac® Polyester powder coat.
All hardware is Zinc Plated and the bolts are all of the same size.. No guessing what goes where.

Plastisol Coated Metal Picnic Tables:

Plastisol is a PVC (vinyl) material. It is "thermosetting," so once it sets up, it can't be remelted.
The heated steel parts are dipped into a tub of liquid vinyl and then baked for an extended time.
This produces a smooth impervious coating that is between 1/8" to 1/4" thick.
On these premium tables, all parts are plastisol coated, even the legs.
All bolts are Stainless Steel - No rusting!
All tubing ends are welded closed so insects, bees, and wasps are prevented from nesting (and stinging).
Closed tubing ends also stops rain or saltwater from entering the tubing and rusting it from the inside.
